stylish living in new york

Apologies for the mini silence… I’ve been confined to my sick bed for the past few days. Dontcha love January germs? Anyway, onto today’s post and a home tour that jumped out at the pages to me from Apartment Therapy. If you’re not aware of this website, then it’s basically legitimate house stalking. Always a fan of chevron print, that’s what first grabbed me with this apartment, but I was also massively taken by the clever use of space, vivid colours against white walls, and the serene bedroom. In NYC you really only get a tiny pocket of square footage to call your own, so I love how the owner’s personality is stamped all over it. And, oh, that chevron wall:

What do you think of this apartment?

Ohhhh I love it. That chevron wall is just utter fabulousness. And all the pops of bright yellow (those chairs! those lamps!) – heavenly.

Aside from the chevron wall, there’s not really much colour on the walls – a good lesson in how to make the most of a rented space as well. Their furniture and accessories are just wonderful…
