Fashion Week is currently residing in chic Milano and therefore we’ve been treated to the likes of Gucci, Prada, Giorgio Armani and Missoni. The show that stood out to me the most, however, was that of Mr Roberto Cavalli… it was pure opulence as pleated drop-waisted skirts, gold-rimmed jackets and glittering sequins sashayed their way down the catwalk. The stunningly beautiful collection reminded me of a room that I’d seen on the blog of talented illustrator Caitlin McGauley. I’ve featured black and white rooms on my blog before (see here), and I’m a little smitten by the dramatic effect that monochrome has, especially with a splash of gold. Having a love of both interiors and fashion I often see links between the two, and this is a prime example:
