best of resort 2012 // 4 Jul 2011

Good morning (and happy Fourth of July to my American readers)! I’m absolutely shattered today, but it was completely worth it. I had a fantastic time at Lucie and Jamie’s wedding – it was such an amazing day, definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to. There’s a bit of a wedding theme going on at the moment, having seen Bridesmaids last week (you HAVE to see it… read my review here), and a hen do this coming weekend. And I thought summer was about having a bit of a rest from the world of events! Today’s post is about the recent ‘resort’ collections that have been shown, and although there were a few designers that were a little, off, for me (Chloé, for starters), there was also a lot to like (Christian Dior and Chanel, in particular). I didn’t want to bore you with a zillion images, so have compiled a ‘best of’, with my favourite look from each of my favourite collections.
