I have long been an avid follower of the blog Things That Sparkle (what can I say, it had me at ‘Sparkle’), so when I saw that the home of its author, Alex Berlin, was being featured on Glitter Guide, I was over there before you could say pink Moet. Wow, the girl has style and a half. Her home achieves the perfect balance of cosy and elegant, as well as having my obsession-du-jour in abundance… grey walls with pink and gold accents. Suffice to say I’m going to be pinning the heck out of this:

I love it! And especially the gray color of your walls in your dining room/living room and the backsplash! We wanted to do something very similar! What kind of backsplash do you have? And what is the color/brand of your dining room and living room (it looks to be the same color)

I am an aspiring interior designer and have always loved rooms painted gray/grey; love charcoal (my half bath). Most of my rooms are of one gray or another so am always happy to see another shade. Can you let me know what paint you used and the shade? Also, info on your backsplash and cabinet color. Did you do that yourself?
